I have a passion for sailing. There’s something about the wind and the water that makes everything else melt away.

Heeling waves was created with the express purpose of giving back to frontline healthcare workers. Sailing helps me to release stress and I want to share that joy with other ER personnel at no charge to them.

​

We’re bringing groups of 5-6 people weather and schedule permitting from different emergency departments from the surrounding community for relaxing trips on the water.

​

The tour starts with a 15 minute cruise down the bayou, then into Lake Pontchartrain, for a relaxing couple of hours before returning up the bayou. Morning, afternoon, and evening cruises will be scheduled based on weather and scheduling.

​

The boat is for hire but there is very limited availability at this time. More will come later but health care workers get priority currently.
